Hi, I'm Kristina Tran. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked passionately in the mental health field in Los Angeles for the past 13 years. I am a first-generation Southeast Asian American and daughter of a genocide survivor. My personal story deeply shapes how I show up: with cultural humility, fierce compassion, and a deep respect for the strength it takes to simply keep going.
Clients & Populations Served
I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and the pressure of overachievement—especially within BIPOC communities. Whether you're a new parent, a higher performer quietly unraveling, or someone carrying stories that were never spoken aloud, I offer a space where your vision and truth are central.
A Strengths-Based, Collaborative Approach
I blend evidence-based tools with a relational, human-centered lens. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to offer practical skills for managing distress, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, and creating lasting change. I believe that therapy is not something I do to you, but something we build together. I welcome feedback, adjust our work based on your evolving needs, and create space for both reflection and action. I bring curiosity, compassion, and respect for your inner wisdom into each session.
I know how important it is to feel seen, heard, and understood—and I'm committed to offering a space where you can show up fully, grow at your own pace, and move toward the life you want to live.
If my work and background resonate with you, I'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch for a free consultation session.
